To adjust brightness and exposure on the GemIQ desktop app, you can add or remove light accessories on your GemLightbox Max, and fine-tune exposure using the GemCam Light Controls and Scene Preset panel in the app. Note: the desktop app can only capture images and videos when a GemCam Pro is connected.
Hardware Adjustments
The amount of light inside your GemLightbox directly affects your exposure. Adding or removing accessories is the quickest way to make a significant change before touching any software settings.
GemLightbox Max
Attach or detach the magnetic sparkle lights on the sides of the machine to increase or reduce light intensity
Place or remove LumiPanels at the opening to control how much light is trapped inside
Turn the rotating sparkle lights on the ceiling of the GemLightbox Max on or off by pressing the center button, or remove individual LEDs one at a time as they are magnetic
GemLightbox Pro
Attach or detach the magnetic sparkle lights on the sides of the machine
Keep or remove the front panel to control how much light is contained inside the machine
