If clicking Start Sync on the Shopify Sync page results in a brief flashes but does not begin the synchronization process, check the following:

Verify Your Shopify Store Is Connected

If your Shopify store was not connected successfully, GemIQ will not be able to start syncing.

To resolve this:

  1. Disconnect or delete the existing Shopify connection.

  2. Reconnect your Shopify store.

  3. Complete the authorization process.

  4. Try syncing again.

If the connection was incomplete or interrupted, reconnecting the store usually resolves the issue.

Make Sure You Have Products in GemIQ

The Shopify integration only syncs products that exist within GemIQ.

If your GemIQ account doesn't contain any products, there is nothing available to sync.

Before syncing:

  • Create or import the products you want to publish.

  • Verify that they appear in your GemIQ inventory.

Once products are available, try running the sync again.

Check That Your Media Files Have SKUs

Each product must have a SKU before it can be synced to Shopify.

If your media files or products do not have SKUs assigned, the synchronization cannot proceed.
