Common Causes
Network issues A slow or unstable internet connection can significantly delay image saving.
Too many programs running If your computer is handling multiple active programs at once, GemIQ may not get the resources it needs to save efficiently. This is more common on lower-spec machines — we recommend at least an i7 processor or Apple M2 chip for the smoothest experience.
How to Fix It
1. Check your network Test your internet speed. If it's unstable, unplug your router and reconnect, or switch to a different network. If the connection is simply slow overall, upgrading your internet plan may be necessary.
2. Close unnecessary programs Open Activity Monitor (macOS) or Task Manager (Windows) and close any background apps you're not actively using.
3. Clear the GemIQ app cache If the issue persists, clear the app's cache and local data from within GemIQ.
4. Restart the GemIQ app Still slow? Force quit GemIQ from Activity Monitor or Task Manager, then relaunch the app.
5. Contact support If none of the above resolves it, reach out to support@gemiq.com and the team will help investigate further.
