If your videos are lagging, freezing, or not saving when taken with the GemCam Pro, follow these steps to troubleshoot and resolve the issue.
Clear the Cache
Temporary files can sometimes slow down performance.
Open the GemIQ Desktop App.
Go to Help → Troubleshooting.
Click Clear Cache & Local Data.
Confirm the pop-up to restart the app.
Test recording again.
💡 Tip: Clearing the cache only removes temporary files — your photos and videos will remain safe.
Uninstall and Reinstall GemIQ
If the issue persists after clearing the cache:
Uninstall the GemIQ application from your computer.
Download and install the latest version from GemIQ from the following
Windows: Microsoft Store
Mac: App Store
Log in and test recording again.
Updating ensures you have the latest performance improvements and bug fixes.
Lower the Recording Resolution
High-resolution settings may cause lag on some computers which do not meet the system's recommended specifications
