Steps
On your Google Pixel 7, open the native Camera app (the one that comes with the phone).
In the camera viewfinder, swipe down from the top or tap the settings icon (a pill-shaped button in the top-left corner) to open the camera settings menu.
Locate the Macro Focus section in the menu.
Tap on Macro Focus to see the available options:
Auto: The camera will try to automatically detect a close subject and switch to macro mode. This can be inconsistent.
Off: Macro mode is completely disabled.
On: The camera is locked into Macro Focus mode. We recommend this setting for consistent jewelry photography.
