If your GemCam photos show a yellow, blue, or green background tint, use the Color Correction tool in GemIQ. One click corrects the white balance and restores accurate jewelry colors.
GemCam is connected and recognized in the GemHub.
GemHub is open on your computer.
Open GemIQ and click GemCam to access the camera controls.
In the GemCam control panel, scroll down to the Color Correction button and click it.
This applies the color correction automatically.
The background becomes clean white and your jewelry colors are rendered accurately. Any previous yellow, blue, or green cast is removed.
Background still has a color cast: Make sure the shooting surface inside GemCam is clean and free from dust or debris, which can affect white balance readings.
Color Correction button not visible: Scroll further down in the GemCam control panel — the button may be below the visible area.
Colors still look inaccurate after correction: Confirm GemHub is up to date, then contact support with a sample photo and your GemHub version number.
