GemIQ is designed to sync product information between GemIQ and Shopify. However, product variants are not currently supported as part of the synchronization process.

Examples of Shopify variants include:

  • Metal colours (Yellow Gold, White Gold, Rose Gold)

  • Product colours

These types of variants cannot be created or updated through the GemIQ Shopify integration.

How Should I Manage Variants?

If your products require variants:

  • Create the product in Shopify.

  • Add and manage the variants directly within Shopify.

  • Continue using GemIQ to manage the supported product information and media.
