This guide explains every setting for GemCam and GemCam Pro within the GemIQ application. To access these settings, click the gear icon (⚙️) in the top-right corner of the GemCam control panel. The device must be connected to your computer.

Turntable and Camera Controls

Turntable Controls

  • Angle and Speed: Set the rotation angle and speed of the GemLightbox Pro's turntable before shooting.

  • Directional Arrows: When a turntable is connected, use the arrows to manually position your jewelry before capturing.

Camera Controls

  • Auto Focus: Adjusts the camera to focus on the jewelry piece.

  • Zoom: Magnifies the live view to fill the frame or capture details.

  • Camera and Video Mode: Switch between capturing still images and recording video.

  • Show Grid: Displays an alignment grid over the live preview to help center your jewelry consistently.

  • Auto-Capture: Captures still images at set intervals while a video is recording.

Lighting and Color Adjustments

Scenario Presets

Select a preset to apply recommended camera settings for different types of jewelry.

  • Default: Standard preset for the selected device.

  • White Gold: Optimized for white gold jewelry.

  • Loose Diamond: Optimized for loose diamonds.
