This guide provides setup instructions for both the current GemLightbox Pro and the legacy GemLightbox (2014) models. Please follow the section that corresponds to your device.

Before You Begin

To get started, you will need:

  • Your GemLightbox unit and all included accessories.

  • A nearby power outlet.

  • A smartphone with GemIQ installed.

Download GemIQ on your smartphone before beginning setup. You can find it on the App Store for iPhone or Google Play for Android.

Setup Instructions

GemLightbox Pro

  1. Plug in and power on your GemLightbox Pro using the included power cable.

  2. Attach the adjustable side lights to the magnetic strips on each side of the unit.

  3. Open GemIQ on your smartphone, tap 'Camera', and connect to the GemLightbox Pro via Bluetooth.

  4. Position your smartphone using either the front stand for straight-on shots or the top mount for overhead shots. Remember to open the top lid when using the top mount.

  5. Place your jewelry inside the GemLightbox Pro to begin capturing.

GemLightbox (Legacy Model)

  1. Carefully unpack the GemLightbox, power adapter, and smartphone stand.

  2. Connect the power adapter to a wall outlet and to the power port on the back of the GemLightbox.

  3. Press the power button on the front of the unit to turn on the internal lights.
