To set up your GemLightbox, unpack the device and its accessories, connect the included power adapter to a wall outlet and the lightbox, then turn it on. Place your jewelry inside and use your smartphone with the GemIQ to start capturing photos.

Before You Start

  • You will need your GemLightbox and all the accessories from the box, including the power adapter and smartphone stand.

  • A smartphone with GemIQ installed.

Steps

  1. Unpack the unit: Remove the GemLightbox, power adapter, universal smartphone stand, and backgrounds from the packaging.

  2. Connect Power: Plug one end of the power adapter into a wall outlet and the other end into the power port on the back of the GemLightbox.

  3. Turn On the Light: Press the power button on the front of the GemLightbox. The internal lights will turn on.

  4. Place Jewelry Inside: Open the front cover. Place the included black or white background inside if you wish, then position your piece of jewelry in the center of the turntable.

  5. Position Your Smartphone: Assemble the smartphone stand and place your phone on it. Align your phone's camera with the front photography hole of the GemLightbox.
