The GemLightbox Aerial is a motorized turntable that attaches to your GemLightbox so you can capture smooth 360-degree photos and videos of your jewelry. Setup takes under five minutes: place your piece, connect the cord, attach a stand, and pair the Aerial through the GemIQ.

Before You Start

  • Your GemLightbox is unpacked and placed on a stable, flat surface.

  • Your GemLightbox is powered on.

  • Your smartphone has the GemIQ Mobile App installed and you are logged in.

  • You have the Aerial turntable and its connecting cord ready.

Steps

  1. Place your jewelry piece on top of the GemLightbox. Center it on the shooting surface.

  2. Attach the Aerial turntable to the underside of the jewelry piece. Align it carefully so the piece sits level and the magnetic connection is secure.

  3. Connect the Aerial to the GemLightbox by plugging in the supplied cord at both ends.

  4. Attach your preferred stand to the center base of the Aerial. If needed, place the photography table on top of the GemLightbox to cover the small magnet hole at the base.

  5. Open the GemIQ on your smartphone.

  6. Tap Connect to pair the Aerial turntable.

  7. Start shooting. Tap the capture button to begin your 360-degree photo or video sequence.
