Light Modes#

The GemLightbox Macro includes four built-in lighting modes. Select the mode that best matches the stone you are photographing.

Light Mode	Color Temperature	Best For
Blue	6500K	Colored diamonds, semi-precious stones
White	5500K	Diamonds, sapphires, and other precious stones
Sparkle	5500K (direct)	Bringing out natural sparkle in any stone

Disc Color	Best For
White	Colored stones — lets their natural, rich color appear clearly against the background
Grey	White stones and diamonds — prevents the crystal shine from washing out; adds subtle depth
Black	Any stone where you want a dramatic, luxury presentation

Size	Diameter	Recommended For
Large	6.5 cm (2.5 in)	Stones larger than 10ct
Medium	5.5 cm (2.2 in)	Stones between 1ct and 10ct
Small	4.5 cm (1.7 in)	Stones smaller than 1ct
