Can I Remove the Lens?

Yes. Follow these steps:

  1. Detach the main body of the GemLoupe from the ring clip.

  2. From the back of the main body, push the lens forward and out through the back of the device.

  3. The lens is now detached and ready to be swapped or stored.

What Is the Focal Distance?

The GemLoupe lens has a focal distance of 5–10 cm. Keep your subject within this range for sharp, in-focus results.

What Is the Smallest Object I Can Photograph?

GemLoupe has no lower size limit — you can photograph gemstones from 0.1 ct diamonds up to larger statement pieces. For subjects larger than macro range, switch to your phone's native camera mode without the lens attached.

Is There a 1X Lens?

The 1X lens has been discontinued. Because it provided no zoom function, it was removed from the GemLoupe lineup.
