This guide walks you through setting up your GemLightbox Pro, connecting it to the app, and capturing your first studio-grade images. Most jewelers are ready to shoot in under 5 minutes.
Step 01 · What's in the Box
GemLightbox Pro is a modular setup with multiple included accessories. Tap each item below as you find it in the box.
Step 02 · Placement
Place your GemLightbox Pro on a solid, flat surface to prevent tilted photos and uneven videos. Then connect it to a power outlet and press the power button.
Pro tip: For precise results, use a physical bubble level or a leveling app on your smartphone inside the box to confirm it's perfectly horizontal.
Step 03 · Connection
Everything runs through the GemIQ app, which controls your GemLightbox Pro via Bluetooth. Make sure your phone's Bluetooth is enabled (4.0 or above is required).

Step 04 · Framing
You can shoot from the front for straight-on shots or from the top for flat-lay images. Choose the best angle for your jewelry.
Place your phone on the included stand for standard, straight-on photos and 360° videos.
Best for · Rings, earrings, pendants
Step 05 · Customization
Slide the Pro Eclipse insert in to create a pure-black background — perfect for diamonds and high-contrast pieces. The magnetic Sparkle Lights snap on for extra brilliance.
Pro tip: Keep your Eclipse clean with a microfiber duster or sticky tape — no cleaning sprays needed.
